WELCOME! I’M FEI LIANG

Hey there, I’m Fei Liang, a data enthusiast with a knack for turning numbers into meaningful insights. Originally grown in Beijing, China, I brought my vibrant spirit and zest for life all the way to Ithaca, New York, where I’m currently pursuing a master’s degree in Operations Research and Information Engineering at Cornell University.

As a data science summer intern at Pitney Bowes, I dove headfirst into an incredible container shipping prioritization and optimization project. Picture this: me, armed with my trusty coding skills and fueled by a never-ending curiosity, finding innovative ways to make global shipping smoother than a perfectly executed slam dunk. It was a thrilling journey that taught me invaluable lessons and deepened my passion for this field.

But don’t let my data geek persona fool you—I’m not just a numbers whiz! When I’m not knee-deep in datasets, you can find me hitting the courts for a game of basketball. I’ve been dribbling and shooting hoops since my elementary school days, and the court is my happy place. If there’s snow on the ground, you might spot me gliding down the slopes, as I’ve been tearing it up on skis for the past five years.

When the sun shines, I can’t resist the call of the great outdoors. Hiking, kayaking, and exploring nature’s wonders are my favorite pastimes. And hey, I’m currently honing my skills on the tennis court—because why not add another sport to the repertoire?

So, whether I’m crunching numbers or shooting hoops, I approach life with infectious enthusiasm and a desire to make a meaningful impact. If you’re as passionate about data science as I am or just want to chat about the latest sports highlights, let’s connect and embark on an exciting journey together!
